In 2001 I proposed to the General Manager of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), owner of the Urbe Airport to organize an Air Fair & Show to promote the Aviation Industry and the airport itself with the ultimate goal to turn the Urbe into a multifunctional hub with Fiumicino & Ciampino International Airports.

The event was an overwhelming success from its first edition, with record visitor turnout, participation by leading companies in the business such as: Augusta Westland, Eurocopter, Finmeccanica, Piaggio Aero Industries, Exxonmobil, Galielo Avionica, Air BP, Vitrociset, Elettronica and many others, the largest display of helicopters in Europe and extensive coverage by all the most important National Mass Media corporations.
